Las Vegas, October 2nd / PRNewswire / -- Rareview Capital LLC Today, we announce the launch of Rareview Bloomberg Commodity Index ETF (Code: BCOM). Rareview Capital is a registered investment advisor and initiator of ETF, focusing on target-based investment strategies. This ETF aims to provide investors with passive market exposure to global commodity benchmarks through a single fund.

This ETF strives to track Bloomberg Commodity Index Total Return before deducting fees and expenses. As of April 30, 2026, Rareview Bloomberg Commodity Index ETF ( BCOM ) consists of 24 commodity futures contracts corresponding to 22 commodities, with weights allocated based on trading volume or liquidity accounting for 2/3, and based on global production or economic importance accounting for 1/3, in addition to additional criteria related to global economic importance. The fund has also set weight limits to restrict the concentration of a single commodity (15%) and a single sector (33%).

Rareview Capital indicates that many investment portfolios have formal allocations to stocks and fixed income, but commodities are often absent, or the allocation is concentrated, or they are used only as a tactical component. This ETF provides a broad and systematic exposure, without the need for advisors to select individual commodities or predict which one will perform best.

Rareview Capital Founder and Chief Investment Officer Neil Azous stated: "A key issue in portfolio construction today is no longer which commodity will outperform next, but whether commodity asset classes should have a clear role in the portfolio, just like stocks and bonds do." He said, "We believe the answer is yes. The industry-standard portfolio of 60% stocks and 40% bonds has begun to shift towards 60% stocks, 30% bonds, and 10% commodities."

The product manager of Bloomberg Index Services Limited's commodity index, Jim Wiederhold, stated: "We are very pleased that Rareview Capital has chosen Bloomberg Commodity Index as the benchmark for its new ETF." He added, " Bloomberg Commodity Index is designed to reflect the economic importance and liquidity of the global commodity markets, while maintaining diversification across sectors."

Rareview Bloomberg Commodity Index ETF has now started trading using the BCOM code.

Investment involves risks, including the potential loss of principal. There is no guarantee that the fund will achieve its stated objectives. Investing in this fund may expose you to various risks, including but not limited to market risk, interest rate risk, tax risk, liquidity risk, leverage risk, investment restriction risk, operational risk, concentration risk among authorized participants, the risk of the absence of an active trading market, transaction issues, active management risk, risk associated with the trading of fund shares, premium/discount risk, and risks related to the liquidity and concentration of fund shares. These factors can all have an adverse effect on the fund. Diversified investment does not guarantee profits or protect against losses. Commodity sector risk: The daily performance of certain commodity spot prices can directly affect the fund's performance. If the fund has a significant exposure to a particular commodity sector, it may be more susceptible to losses due to adverse events affecting that sector, such as a decline in commodity prices. Leverage risk: If the fund is exposed to leverage, either directly or indirectly through investments in commodity futures contracts, its value may be more volatile than if there was no leverage. Cash and cash equivalents risk: The fund will hold short-term fixed-income securities that can be used as collateral for the fund's commodity futures positions, or they may generate interest income and capital appreciation for the cash balances resulting from the use of futures contracts, thereby providing a “total return” on the underlying commodities.

Bloomberg Commodity Index ( BCOM ) is a widely dispersed benchmark that tracks the performance of various physical commodities such as energy, metals, agriculture, and livestock. The index cannot be directly invested in.
