IGEL will host the Now & Next ® Summit in Dubai, focusing on current and future workspace and endpoint security.
The event will bring together customers, partners, and industry leaders to discuss endpoint security, resilience, and workspace security.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October 1, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- The global software company behind ®, ™ announced today that it will host a summit sub-event on workspace and endpoint security, titled Now & Next, at the Dubai Knowledge Park in the United Arab Emirates on October 21, 2026. At that time, IT and security leaders will be invited to review the priorities of endpoint security, endpoint resilience, and workspace security that are shaping the business strategies of companies in the region.
This event continues the IGEL flagship Now & Next ® series of summits. Since the beginning of this year, this series has been held in five European cities, as well as in Australia and the United States. As these events take place, Middle Eastern companies are increasing their investments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing services, and digital experiences, which also expands the technical environments that they need to manage and protect.
According to data from the UAE Government Cybersecurity Committee, the country faces over 90,000 to 200,000 attempted intrusions per day, highlighting the pressures that rapid digital transformation brings to security in the region. As these environments become more decentralized and interconnected, businesses are increasingly focusing on enhancing cyber resilience and maintaining operational continuity while continuing to drive innovation.
"We repeatedly hear the same feedback from our customers: businesses need stronger terminal control, higher resilience to disruptions, and practical solutions that support current and emerging workspace models," said Klaus Oestermann, CEO of IGEL. "The Now & Next ® Tour Summit is aimed at bringing these topics to key stakeholders, customers, and ecosystem partners to help them define the next phase of their terminal strategies."
This summit will bring together IGEL executives, customers, and ecosystem partners to discuss terminal security strategies, resilience, and the future of digital work. In addition to the sessions led by IGEL, event sponsors such as Microsoft, as well as customers and ecosystem partners like Omnissa and Lenovo, will also contribute their perspectives and frontline experience to enrich the agenda.
Dubai is a gathering place for important participants in the tech industry in the Middle East. The Now & Next ® summit gives us the opportunity to bring together customers, partners, and regional experts to discuss the challenges they are currently facing," said Carsten Thomsen, Vice President of Sales for Emerging Markets at __BJWKEEP_. "Our goal is to transform these discussions into concrete ideas that companies can implement in their own environments."
The event will commence in the morning, followed by a lunch exchange at Conference Center 1 of Dubai Knowledge Park, and in the afternoon, there will be a roundtable discussion for executives. The event is aimed at IT and security officers from companies in the United Arab Emirates and throughout the Middle East region.
