IT Home News on October 1st: CDPR announced today that actor Wu Yanzu has confirmed his participation in the animated series "Cyberpunk: Edge Wanderer 2", providing his voice for the character Kirill Yang.

"Cyberpunk: Edge Runner 2" will officially launch on Netflix on October 20th. The entire season consists of 10 episodes and is jointly produced by CD PROJEKT RED and the Japanese animation studio TRIGGER.

Season 2 will tell a brand-new, standalone story that continues the world of Cyberpunk 2077. The story revolves around four new characters: Micah Kingsley, cyber hacker D, film enthusiast Roman Karakas, and Talia Yang, with themes focusing on redemption and revenge.

In terms of the production team, the director is Haya Igarashi, the lead character designer is Ichika Kaneno, and the scriptwriting team includes Masahiko Otsuka and the Hugo Award winner Bartosz Sztybor.

IT Note: Wu Yanzu has previously participated in the voice acting for several animated works, including the English version of "Dragon Sword Legend" in 2005 and "Ji Yuan Tai No. 7" in 2019.
