Cleveland, September 29, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- KeyBank (NYSE : KEY) Today, we announce that Drue Anderson has joined the company as the head of retail banking operations. Anderson will be responsible for driving the next phase of growth in KeyBank's retail business, with a focus on robust execution, customer experience, and the bank's long-term strategic commitments. He will succeed Kevin Sloan, who will leave Key and retire at the end of this year.

KeyBank indicates that Anderson has over 25 years of leadership experience in the banking industry. Recently, he has served as the Director of the Consumer Banking Division and Head of Virtual Banking at JPMorgan Chase.

KeyBank, the person in charge of Consumer Banking, stated: "Drue has a proven track record in expanding retail banking services, increasing market share, and achieving strong business results. In an earlier part of his career, Anderson held several leadership positions at Citibank, including Regional Director, Sales Manager, and Financial Advisor for the wealth management business. In these roles, he helped to achieve double-digit year-over-year growth in balances and revenue on multiple occasions.

Anderson is from central Illinois and resides with his family in Zionsville in Indiana. He will be based at the office in KeyBank located in Indianapolis and will collaborate with Sloan before the end of 2026 to support a smooth leadership transition.
