Singapore, September 29, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- In response to the growing demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, Castrol today launches Castrol CORE, a brand-new end-to-end solution for its data center thermal management business. This solution is designed to help customers manage increasingly complex cooling requirements from the early design phase to daily operations.

Castrol indicates that Castrol CORE marks the company's transition from its current product-led cooling business to an integrated, service-driven model. This new model combines products, infrastructure, design, and a network of service partners, allowing customers to deal with only one point of contact throughout the entire value chain, without the need to coordinate with multiple suppliers.

Under the Castrol CORE framework, Castrol will be involved in data center infrastructure development earlier than before. In addition to the existing deployment, launch, operation, and maintenance support, new design capabilities will be added. This move is based on the industry research conducted by Castrol. The research found that there is an increasing demand in the market for integrated thermal management solutions that can reduce the complexity of collaboration among various technologies and suppliers. The study also indicates that supply chain challenges and high failure costs are significant concerns in the industry.

The core of this solution is the cooling technology of Castrol. These technologies have been tested and verified by leading chip and hardware manufacturers, including NVIDIA and Intel. Castrol states that this gives customers more confidence that the relevant technologies can keep up with the next generation of AI infrastructure. The solution also relies on Castrol's global technology and testing facilities, which include laboratories located in the UK, the US, Germany, and China, as well as joint laboratories across Asia and a network of service providers covering over 150 countries. This network enables continuous on-site testing, verification, and monitoring throughout the entire lifecycle of the facilities, and helps customers reduce the risk of costly downtime.

Castrol, President of Global Thermal Management, Peter Huang stated: "Customers tell us that what they want is not just another standalone product. They need experienced partners to help them address their thermal management challenges comprehensively. We are combining proven technologies, global coverage, and crucial design expertise, so that we can collaborate with customers at every stage of the project, allowing them to focus confidently on the next step."

In the Asia-Pacific region, Castrol has established a regional data center design team, supported by local experts, which reflects the speed at which this region is adopting new types of cooling infrastructure. This approach has been tested in practice: Castrol has completed a proof-of-concept project with a leading data center operator in China and is currently working with global operators to advance more proof-of-concept projects.

Leveraging over 127 years of experience in deploying fluids for critical mission applications, Castrol CORE will initially focus on data center cooling systems, while also providing a platform for the future expansion of Castrol's thermal management solutions to other applications.

Petrus responds to Tata Motors' offer to acquire Iveco at 14.10 euros per share: Fair value should be paid
Petrus indicates that it holds approximately 3.8% of the ordinary shares of Iveco, and has issued a document outlining its views on Tata Motors' voluntary tender offer to acquire Iveco for €14.10 per share in cash. Petrus argues that this bid does not reflect a fair value for the shareholders of Iveco, citing reasons such as a significant undervaluation compared to peers, shareholders not receiving an appropriate share of the transaction synergies, and shareholders deserving compensation for the 15-month waiting period between the announcement of the transaction and its expected completion.
