London, September 29, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- jaam automation Today, we are launching M. by jaam. This is a new AI platform designed to bring together people, systems, and AI to help businesses understand how work is carried out, and gradually enable AI to take on more responsibilities.
The company stated that business processes are rarely completed within a single system or by a single team alone. Work, knowledge, and decision-making are distributed among personnel, applications, and different stages of the process, which makes it difficult for AI agents to understand what needs to happen next. As enterprises transition from experimenting with AI to having AI undertake actual work, connecting AI to a broader business context is becoming increasingly crucial.
M. by and jaam can coordinate the work between personnel, systems, and AI agents, providing visibility and control for organizations so that they can introduce AI at their own pace. The company states that although 88% of organizations are currently using AI, only 7% have fully scaled it, which means that the challenge has shifted from "adopting AI" to "making AI effectively function throughout the business." McKinsey found that while 80% of employees say AI improves personal productivity, only 37% of organizations report that AI has a positive impact on EBIT.
M by Jaam's Context Engine
The core of M. is Context Engine, which gathers information about the organization, its knowledge, as well as its current and historical work. The company states that this helps M. understand how work flows within the enterprise and what needs to be done next, thereby providing the necessary context for AI to function within the existing processes. As work progresses, M. can also learn from decisions, results, and patterns in order to improve future work and automation.
M. It is possible to use either its own AI proxy or the proxies that have already been established by the enterprise, allowing the organization to continue developing on top of the existing AI investments, rather than starting from scratch.
jaam automation Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder Andrew Murphy stated: "Many companies have adopted AI at a very rapid pace, but they find it difficult to make it play a role throughout their entire business. Every organization has its own processes, systems, personnel, and ways of doing things. If we want AI to take on more of this kind of work, it needs to understand how the company actually operates."
He added, "The business context is a bottleneck in the adoption process of AI; this is also the underlying logic behind M. by and jaam. Enterprises can build this understanding based on the work they are already doing, then introduce AI at the appropriate points, and as confidence grows, assign it more responsibilities."
Built around the technology already possessed by the enterprise
The design goal of M. is to work in conjunction with technologies that enterprises are already using, including Microsoft Azure AI, Copilot, and Power Platform, as well as other business systems, built-in proxies of M., and custom applications. With the number of active Microsoft 365 proxies increasing by 15 times within a year [3], M. provides organizations with a way to integrate their existing AI capabilities with personnel, systems, and business processes. Enterprises can also connect their own AI proxies to M., allowing them to continue building upon their existing investments rather than starting from scratch.
Co-founders Oaka Studio and Lucy Bourne stated: " AI is changing the way organizations work, but success is not just about introducing new technologies. The key lies in combining AI, people, and existing systems in a practical, secure, and governed manner. M.'s approach provides a gradual way to introduce AI while maintaining visibility and control. Its compatibility with the Microsoft ecosystem, as well as the ability to collaborate with Microsoft partners, also offers a feasible path for organizations that have already invested in Microsoft technology to explore what proxy-based work will look like in practice."
Helping enterprises move towards more automation at their own pace.
The design purpose of M is to enable organizations to start from their existing technologies and processes, then introduce AI to assist and automate some tasks, and gradually increase the workload that AI can handle.
M. The organization will be guided through five stages:
- Analysis — Understanding requirements, information, knowledge, and processes.
- Build – transform this understanding into structures and the necessary work.
- Work – leveraging the right context and information support for real-time work.
- Intelligent – monitors progress, identifies risks, and marks areas that require action.
- Optimization – Identifying AI, proxies, and automated processes that can improve workflow.
At the time of this release, companies are facing an increasingly growing challenge: how to coordinate AI agents with personnel and existing technologies. In February 2026, Gartner identified "Universal Orchestration" as an emerging corporate challenge, as organizations are seeking to coordinate AI agents, robots, and personnel across different systems and suppliers.
M. is within this broader Agentic Work Management transformation, helping enterprises to coordinate work among personnel, systems, and AI, while also establishing the context required for introducing greater automation.
Regarding jaam and automation
jaam automation Helps organizations automate complex business processes by integrating people, systems, and AI, making work more efficient, resilient, and scalable. Based on decades of experience in business process automation, jaam applies AI and Agentic AI to assist organizations in automating more complex tasks while maintaining the necessary control and oversight.
Regarding M. by jaam
M. by jaam is a platform launched by jaam automation, which can coordinate the work between personnel, AI agents, and business systems. Its Context Engine aggregates organizational knowledge, business processes, real-time work, and historical data, providing the context necessary for efficient work for personnel and AI.
It enables organizations to gradually introduce AI, determining which processes still require human involvement and which can be entrusted to AI to take on greater responsibilities. The goal is to help companies automate more of their daily tasks, while allowing personnel to focus on judgment, creativity, and direction setting.
