Roblox is pushing the generative AI game creation feature to more markets. The company initially launched a tool called “Build” in July, which allowed users to create games using natural language prompts. This feature was first available in New Zealand and has now been extended to Serbia and Singapore.
At the same time, Roblox is also adjusting its methods of creation and distribution to make it easier for developers to take their works outside of the platform. The company stated that creators will soon be able to turn their games into standalone applications that can be released for mobile devices, PC, and consoles; by the end of this year, players will also be able to access the games directly in their browsers through links.
Creative tools continue to gain momentum
Roblox and Build have also added desktop access, a new asset library, and iteration control. The company plans to add a scenario generation function based on prompts later this year and will extend it to Roblox Studio as well. The platform is also enhancing the capabilities of NPC, adding new character functions that can be used for trial tests.
Distributed and experience adjustments are made in sync.
In addition to creative tools, Roblox has also added an offline mode to facilitate continued play when the network is weak. The new friend chat tag will follow the player throughout the game and supports voice input. The platform will also improve its recommendation algorithm, recommending shorter games to younger users and longer-duration content to older users.
Creator Income Tool Launched

Roblox indicates that since 2013, platform game creators have accumulated earnings of over 5 billion US dollars, with 1.7 billion US dollars in the past 12 months alone. The company is launching Roblox Wallet to help creators receive payments in real money at the end of each working day, which can also be transferred to other bank accounts. Roblox is also collaborating with Airwallex to provide wallet services for users aged 18 and above in the United States, with plans to expand to more regions in the future.
Additional information:Roblox also announced the launch of Roblox Card next year, which will allow users to consume at merchants that support card payments and thereby generate income for creators.
