According to CoinMeta, Dana White, the CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC), stated that he plans to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday to discuss the invitation Trump has extended for him to take on the role of the next White House Press Secretary. Trump posted on social media on Saturday, stating that he had offered White this position, but it is currently unclear whether the UFC champion will accept the offer. When asked about this possibility, White said at a press conference, "I already have a lot of work to do." A person close to the UFC leader revealed that Trump had previously offered White this position as well. Trump's social media post indicates that he is preparing for potential intense political battles in the coming two years after the Republican Party suffered a complete defeat in the midterms. He stated that he needs this UFC leader and his team to "help us defend against the crazy left."
