Multiple users have reported that their ChatGPT / OpenAI accounts were suddenly deactivated, with a message stating "Your account has been deleted or suspended" appearing when attempting to log in. This action affects both free API accounts, team carpooling accounts, and those costing $200 per month. Some users even mentioned that their Pro accounts, which they had used for five years, were deactivated without any prior warning or email notification. A developer stated that years of accumulated conversation records and personal memories were locked away in the cloud and could not be retrieved.
