2026-11-07 09:08:53
According to CoinMeta, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated in a post on X that, as a listed company CEO, he supports the tokenization of Coinbase's stock, hoping that more people will hold shares in the company. He believes that excluding potential new shareholders is not conducive to business development, and companies should cater to customer needs. Previously, 67 companies had opposed the tokenization of their stocks on the joint platform OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) OKXICE. The latest opponents include Palantir, S&P Global, KLA, SMCI, and Meta. Among them, out of the 62 companies initially planned to be covered by OKXICE, 56 have raised objections, accounting for about 90.3%. Companies such as Apple, Tesla, Amazon, Microsoft, and NVIDIA have also opposed the tokenization of their stocks on this platform.
