According to CoinMeta, Coin Bureau pointed out that with the impact of the U.S. mid-term elections on AI trading, stock and crypto investors are paying attention to today's U.S. employment report in order to gain clues regarding the Federal Reserve's interest rate hike in December. The report will be released at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time. Nasdaq fell by 5.52% on Thursday, and Bitcoin dropped below $77,000. Treasury yields dropped to their lowest level since early September, with the probability of a December rate hike decreasing to 68%. An expected 65,000 new jobs created represents an increase from 29,000 in September. The annual wage growth rate is expected to fall below 3% for the first time, and if the unemployment rate drops to 4.1%, it could help maintain the possibility of a December rate hike. Strong hiring and high wages may revive expectations of a rate hike, driving up yields and the dollar, and putting pressure on U.S. stocks (especially tech stocks) and Bitcoin. On the contrary, a weak report could ease concerns about a rate hike, providing room for a rebound in the stock and crypto markets. Goldman Sachs still expects a rate hike in December. Schwab's Liz Ann Sonders indicates that the Federal Reserve would only consider not raising rates if the employment report is significantly weak.
