According to CoinMeta, Wu said that on November 6, QCP Capital released a market report stating that the Democratic Party won control of both the Senate and the House in the U.S. mid-term elections, and that U.S. trade policy and AI infrastructure construction may face new political obstacles in the coming two years. QCP believes that the Democratic Party may push to end Trump's global tariff policies, strengthen congressional control over trade affairs, and initiate investigations into Trump's family's business activities. In the field of AI infrastructure, data center projects may face risks such as delayed approval, higher costs for grid access and usage, and reduced tax incentives. However, since the Democratic Party does not yet have the two-thirds majority required to override the president's veto power, there is still uncertainty as to whether these policies will be implemented. On the market side, on November 5, the S&P 500 index fell by 4.36%, marking the largest single-day decline since April 2025; the Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 5.52%, dropping about 11.9% from its historical high, entering a technical adjustment period; Bitcoin also fell by about 5.5% during the same period, to $76,036.
