The capacity of high-standard granaries will be steadily increased as needed, and existing old granaries that meet the requirements will be upgraded and renovated. Luo Shouquan, Director of the Grain Reserve Department of the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, stated that during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, we will comprehensively consider factors such as grain supply and demand, circulation conditions, and changes in consumption. We will work with relevant parties to dynamically adjust and optimize the scale and structure of reserves. We will coordinate the renovation of existing stockpiles with the construction of new facilities, improve the layout, enhance functionality, and steadily increase the capacity of high-standard granaries as required. We will also upgrade and renovate old granaries that meet the standards, and further improve management systems and standard specifications to strengthen the institutional support.
