According to CoinMeta, a large natural gas project in Victoria, Australia, "_golden beach," has entered bankruptcy management due to delays in progress and a significant increase in costs, resulting in a lack of sufficient funds. This situation has further exacerbated concerns about the natural gas supply gap on Australia's east coast. The Victorian government stated that the project was approved last month, with plans to begin natural gas production in 2028 and launch gas storage operations the following year, which is expected to increase Victoria's natural gas storage capacity by about 70%. The project was originally expected to alleviate the natural gas supply gap expected to occur in Australia's densely populated east coast region by the end of this decade. According to the official website, the project was planned to have a daily natural gas production capacity of 500 terajoules, which exceeds half of Victoria's maximum daily natural gas demand for the 12 months up to June 2026.
