2026-10-27 10:55:17
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Nikkei Asia, USDC, the world's second-largest stablecoin, its issuer Circle's Chief Strategy Officer Dante Disparte called on Asian economies to create a fair competitive environment for large banks and fintech startups when formulating stablecoin regulatory frameworks. He believes that experiences from the US and European markets have shown that the stablecoin industry can accommodate both traditional financial institutions and emerging companies. At the same time, Circle hopes that Asian countries will promote cross-border coordination of stablecoin regulatory rules to reduce institutional differences between different jurisdictions, thereby creating conditions for cross-border stablecoin payments and broader financial applications.
