According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Central Command issued a statement stating that since this summer, the U.S. military has assisted Gulf region partners in exporting over 1.5 billion barrels of crude oil, reaching an important milestone. Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command, inspected the Strait of Hormuz and stated that they will continue to work alongside Gulf region partners and the shipping industry to ensure the freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. Cooper noted that thanks to the efforts of U.S. military personnel, the main shipping lanes through the Strait of Hormuz have been cleared of mines laid by Iran and remain unobstructed. Despite Iran's unprovoked aggressive actions, over 95% of vessels have safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz in recent months, indicating that the United States and its regional partners have control over this international waterway.
