According to CoinMeta, Stripe and Plasma have collaborated to launch a stablecoin payment card that supports transactions in US dollars, Brazilian real, euro, Mexican peso, Colombian peso, as well as stablecoins such as USDC and OUSD. This card utilizes the existing multi-stablecoin infrastructure of Stripe to avoid currency exchange fees and eliminate the need for cross-border settlement delays. The service is currently operational in over 30 countries, with plans to expand to more than 100 countries by 2027. As of 2026, the monthly transaction volume through Stripe's stablecoin card infrastructure amounted to approximately 1.2 billion US dollars. The multi-stablecoin accounts operated by Plasma will be migrated to the infrastructure of Stripe cards.
