According to CoinMeta, Google AI Studio has launched an open-source tool Gemini API CLI that allows Claude Code, Codex, and other AI to directly invoke the multi-modal models of Google. Users can configure Gemini API and key through the command line to easily perform functions such as image generation, video production, voiceover, analysis, and audio transcription. In addition, this tool supports in-depth research; users can delegate complex research tasks to Google's research capabilities agent and retrieve the results after completion.
