Iranian official: Internal divisions will prompt the enemy to seek more concessions
2026-10-23 20:19:35
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Iranian media Fars News, Vaezi, the vice chairman of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Moderation and Development Party, stated that the enemy is most concerned with the signals sent from within Iran. If they perceive divisions among the people, they will become more bold in seeking further concessions. He emphasized that defending the country should not be seen as belligerence, nor should negotiations be regarded as surrender or betrayal. Vaezi noted that the enemy launched attacks due to a misjudgment of Iran's social cohesion, expecting to achieve their goals within 24 to 48 hours, but the resistance of Iran's armed forces and the support of the people changed their assessment. He pointed out that Iran's deterrence is based on three pillars: the strength and combat capability of its military personnel, the participation and support of the people, and the services provided by the government. These three elements together enhance the country's ability to defend itself and safeguard national interests. He also warned that sometimes, attempting to resolve differences too hastily or making hasty judgments can lead to new disagreements.
