In a report released in September, the company pointed out that artificial intelligence could push the unemployment rate in the United States to nearly 12%. Additionally, a scientist from Anthropic stated that out-of-control AI intelligents could lead to human extinction. Recently, Anthropic's valuation target of up to $2 trillion has been questioned by the market; if this is indeed the case, it would join the ranks of the world's top 10 most valuable companies, on par with TSMC and SpaceX under Elon Musk.
