Within a month, three AI listings were successively hindered, and investors have begun to become more "picky".

According to CoinMeta, recently three proposed listings related to AI infrastructure have been cancelled, suspended, or postponed in succession, and investors have become more selective. SK Hynix has cancelled its plan for Solidigm to list in the US, which was originally intended to fund the construction of a new wafer factory in the country. Additionally, Australian data center operator Firmus Grid cancelled a deal worth nearly $5 billion on the grounds of market volatility. A few days later, AirTrunk supported by Blackstone postponed its planned listing in Singapore to the first half of next year. Interest rates are rising; the Federal Reserve resumed interest rate hikes in September, and the Bank of Japan has pushed its policy rate to a 31-year high. Higher interest rates increase the financing costs for projects that will not see returns for several years. Geopolitical risks are also on the rise, with the Iran war keeping oil prices high and inflation expectations remaining high. As the scale of AI expenditures expands, investors are paying more attention to when it will start to generate returns.
