2026-10-22 10:16:47
According to CoinMeta, security researcher spreek reported that the administrator keys for the liquidity-backed tokens sweth and re-pledged tokens rsweth under Swell DAO are suspected to have been leaked. Attackers are artificially increasing the net value of these assets at a rate of up to 1% per hour (NAV), and have deployed four malicious upgrade contracts. If these upgrades are executed, they could put approximately 2,500 ETH worth of assets at risk. Currently, these upgrade contracts have not yet entered the multi-signature execution queue, and there is no evidence indicating that the related assets have been stolen. spreek notes that the event analysis report they released was assisted in writing by Claude, and some details have not yet been verified.
