According to CoinMeta, Anthropic is preparing to launch a new model aimed at better understanding the true intentions of users. According to a report from The Information, a tester stated that the new model's reasoning ability and its performance in assessing user needs surpass those of the existing Claude. This model can identify common issues when users request repairs for bug and ask if they wish to have those issues fixed as well. Additionally, the new model is believed to be capable of proposing unconventional solutions; for example, when users consult about stock investment, it might design predictive algorithms rather than merely repeating common analysis methods such as price-earnings ratios. The community speculates that this model could be Claude Fable 5.5. On October 13th, Litellm synchronized `claude-fable-5-5` from the Azure model directory, but deleted it the following day. Meanwhile, Google is testing Gemini 4 Carbon, and employees believe its programming capabilities are close to those of Claude Opus 5.5. OpenAI is also preparing a new version of Terra, which is expected to be launched in the coming weeks, with further enhanced capabilities and at a price lower than GPT-6.1.
