According to CoinMeta, Exa has released Exa 3.0, which primarily provides online search capabilities for AI and agent. The new version ranked first in all eight evaluations, including in-depth research, code retrieval, financial and corporate investigations, surpassing Perplexity, Brave, and Parallel. Third-party institution Artificial Analysis testing found that Exa Auto scored 80 on a comprehensive scale, tying for first place with Perplexity Search; however, Exa took an average of 43.7 seconds to complete individual tasks, while Perplexity took 25.5 seconds. The lower-priced version Exa Lite scored 79 and took 29 seconds. The new version Dynamic Highlights reduces Token consumption by 95% through comprehensive analysis of search results. Actual tests show that the total cost per task Token has decreased from 299,000 to 157,000, representing a 47% reduction, and the overall cost has been lowered by 21%. Exa has also expanded its search index to cover 1.27 billion pieces of e-commerce product information and real-time data. The fee for Lite is $4 per thousand searches, and for Auto, it is $7; both have been made available through API.
