According to CoinMeta, the AI Agent dedicated browser ego ( lite ) has officially launched the Windows test version, which previously only supported macOS. Users can utilize the `ego-browser` skill to allow Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other Agent to directly operate the browser. Developed based on Chromium, this browser supports one-click import of Chrome bookmarks, extensions, cookie, and login status. It also allows direct access to logged-in Gmail, X, corporate backends, and other websites for information collection and form filling. Each Agent has an independent workspace that can execute multiple tasks simultaneously without occupying user tabs. When encountering verification codes or payment processes, users can take over at any time. The browser generates a streamlined page layout that highlights buttons and input fields, preventing the entire page from being overwhelmed by the model. Agent enables users to write multiple operations into a single JavaScript for consecutive execution, reducing tool calls and token consumption. In internal tests of four browser tasks, the official version was up to 3.45 times faster than the Vercel version.
