According to CoinMeta, Cardano wallet service provider Secondfi stated that since the launch of their asset recovery tool on October 7th, over 100 million ADA and 22 million Night have been transferred to target addresses through recovery requests. The team plans to fully automate the process in the coming days by utilizing recovery smart contracts to speed up the processing of the remaining eligible requests. Officials emphasized that users' eligibility for recovery and the amount of funds recovered are determined solely based on event records, relevant snapshots, and recovery terms, and do not cover all assets or losses of the affected wallets. The distribution of Night airdrops is still linked to the original wallets, while the recovery status of external DEFI holdings varies depending on the protocol.
