Aptos Mainnet Launches Encrypted Memory Pool Function to Prevent MEV Attacks
2026-10-20 09:08:59
According to CoinMeta, Aptos has launched an encrypted memory pool feature on the mainnet. Once enabled by users, pending transactions can remain encrypted until the block sorting is determined, thereby preventing pre-emptive transactions and sandwich attacks. This feature is aimed at institutions, traders, AI smart contracts, and developers. In the past 12 months, Ethereum traders have lost $60 million due to sandwich attacks. On Solana, sandwich attacks have generated $29.7 million in profits for robots, involving nearly 6.9 million attacks and affecting about 2.2 million wallets.
