According to CoinMeta, ility announced a security incident on its network and suspended the operation of its cross-chain bridge. Currently, it is cooperating with law enforcement agencies, cryptography forensics experts, and investors to investigate the matter. On-chain analyst specter observed that approximately 35,700 ZEC tokens and 4.1 million ILY tokens flowed out of this bridge, with some of the ZEC tokens being transferred to the Bitcoin and Ethereum networks via multiple addresses. Due to the privacy features of Zcash, the exact connection between these funds and the ility incident has not yet been confirmed.
