According to CoinMeta, on October 15th, the bankruptcy court of Delaware, USA, issued an order approving a settlement agreement reached between the original development company of movement, mvmt, labs, and the former co-founders rushi, manche, bedford, crypto, midas, foundation, movement, network, foundation, and other relevant parties. Previously, movement sparked controversy by selling 66 million tokens after the coin was listed on move; as a result, Binance subsequently banned the involved market maker, and Coinbase suspended trading of move. In May 2025, movement and labs fired co-founder rushi and manche and transferred the core development operations to the newly established move and industries. In July of this year, mvmt and labs applied for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. According to previous bankruptcy documents, manche holds a debt of over $1.6 million against the company and owns 34.25% of its equity.
