2026-10-16 16:35:58
CoinMeta Data: MSCI, one of the world's largest stock index providers, officially announced that it will conduct a review of companies holding Bitcoin, and may remove MicroStrategy and Metaplanet from its global investment market indices. According to the new rules, companies that primarily hold investments rather than actual operating businesses will be considered ineligible. The list of companies ultimately affected will be announced on November 11th, and the changes will take effect at the close of trading on November 30th. This decision may affect the demand for these companies' stocks, thereby impacting their financing capabilities.
