According to CoinMeta, the Shanghai Internet Information Office and the Shanghai Data Bureau have issued "Several Measures for Promoting High-Level Opening Up and Facilitating Cross-Border Data Flow in Shanghai." These measures include improving the infrastructure for cross-border data flow, advancing the construction of the national blockchain network (Shanghai hub), and strengthening foundational capabilities such as distributed digital identities, privacy computing, and cross-chain services. Support is also provided for the development of facilities for cross-border data flow services, exploring data cross-border service models based on mutual recognition of rules, and promoting their application in sectors such as finance and automotive. Additionally, efforts are being made to build international data cooperation hubs in areas like the Lingang New Area, Hongqiao International Central Business District, and Pudong New Area.
