Meteora fixes DAMM and v1 accounting vulnerabilities to prevent abnormal expansion of LP shares
2026-10-16 11:40:20
According to CoinMeta, the Solana liquidity protocol Meteora has improved the accounting design of legacy DAMM v1 pools. The pools now track their own total supply LP, and external destruction no longer affects share calculations. Furthermore, withdrawals require the signature of the LP owners. In the previous design, the destruction of LP tokens would reduce the total supply and inflate the remaining LP shares. A third-party wallet once exploited this design to increase its own shares in seven low-liquidity pools to approximately $12,600. After receiving notifications, the team paused the activity and fixed the related vulnerabilities.
