CoinMeta data: Co-founder Fundstrat and Chairman Bitmine Tom Lee predict that Ethereum (ETH) is expected to break through $5,000 by the end of the year, which represents a rise of about 112% from the current price of $2,363. Although Ethereum's price has recently fallen to $2,300, Lee believes that with traditional financial institutions increasingly adopting blockchain infrastructure, the value of ETH could double by 2026. However, Lee's optimistic forecast faces challenges, as Bitmine, one of the largest Ethereum corporate buyers in the market, is approaching its own set holding limit. Lee also mentioned that if the price of Bitcoin (BTC) reaches $100,000, Ethereum's price could approach $7,500. According to a report by Bitmine, as of October 12th, the company held approximately 6.03 million ETH, accounting for nearly 4.9% of the circulating supply.
