2026-10-15 18:22:39
According to CoinMeta, as concerns among investors regarding the spending, rising debt, and increasing interest rates of AI intensify, the cost of default insurance for major American tech companies has reached record highs. CoreWeave ($CRWV) is under the greatest pressure, with the credit market estimating a 63% implied probability of default within five years. The cost of default insurance for Oracle ($ORCL), Nvidia ($NVDA), Amazon ($AMZN), Alphabet ($GOOGL), and Meta ($META) has also increased. The key issue is that investors doubt whether these companies will be able to generate sufficient profits to repay their growing debts.
