According to CoinMeta, security researchers have discovered that fake Ledger websites and applications appear at the top of Google search results. These sites trick users into revealing their 24-word mnemonic phrases, with over 1 million visits in the past 30 days. Zscaler investigations have found that malicious Google advertisements impersonate Ledger and redirect users to fraudulent verification pages.
