According to CoinMeta, Microchip Technology announced the acquisition of VORAGO Technologies, a supplier of radiation-resistant and anti-radiation microcontrollers (MCU) and microprocessors (MPU) based in Texas. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Microchip Technology stated that through this acquisition, it expects to gain a larger share in the aerospace, defense, and space markets; both investment and demand for defense and commercial aerospace projects are accelerating.
