CoinMeta data: Co-founders glassnode, rafael, and schultze-kraft indicate that approximately 6.26 million BTC coins are in addresses whose public keys have been made public on the blockchain, accounting for 31.2% of the current supply, which is higher than the 24.8% at the beginning of 2021. Of these, about 4.33 million coins were exposed due to address reuse, and around 1.94 million coins are related to script types. This statistic does not imply that quantum attacks are now practically feasible, nor can it be used to assess the security of exchanges or custodian institutions.
