CoinMeta data: Analysts at JPMorgan estimate that about $50 billion in funds have flowed into digital assets since the beginning of this year, at an annualized rate of approximately $66 billion, which is higher than the $52 billion annualized level in May. The inflow in the first half of the year mainly came from Bitcoin purchases and venture capital investments in the crypto sector. Since August, the capital flow has improved. Institutional positions in Bitcoin and Ethereum futures have increased over the past two months, and trend-following traders have begun to rebuild their long positions. Bitcoin mining companies have sold a net of about $1.8 billion this year, mainly by listed mining companies, which has been used to fund expenditures on artificial intelligence infrastructure.
