2026-10-09 01:44:34
CoinMeta data: Jurrien Timmer, the global macro director at Fidelity, stated that if the typical rebound seen in recent quarters recurs, Q3's profit growth could reach 30% to 35%. Although the market's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio has decreased by 10% year-on-year, Timmer pointed out that the current profit growth rate is 28%, with an expected further increase of 20% in future earnings. He mentioned that Q2's profit growth for 2026 is projected to be 34%, while Q1's for 2026 is 29%. Nevertheless, investors have not been willing to pay a higher multiple for this growth. Timmer also noted that historical data shows that investors generally do not pay high multiples for peak profit growth.
