Wintermute: Fake coins experience their first weekly decline of 1.1%, BTC rises by 2.4%

According to CoinMeta, Wintermute indicates that altcoins as a whole fell by 1.1% last week, marking the first weekly decline since early August, while BTC rose by 2.4%. The yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds climbed to around 5.35%, the highest level since 2008, and at the same time, the correlation between BTC and the S&P 500 index has risen again. Wintermute believes that the current macroeconomic pullback risks are more significant than the catalysts within the crypto sector itself. BTC has confirmed support at $82,500 after breaking through the range of $76,000 to $82,500, with the next upward testing area being around $90,000 to $95,000. Wintermute states that if long-term yields fall, it will maintain a moderately bullish stance, but currently, it does not recommend chasing low-quality altcoins.
