According to CoinMeta, the trading volume of Kalshi’s perpetual contracts is mainly dominated by a few repetitive transaction sizes. The data shows that these repetitive transactions account for more than half of the trading value in the Bitcoin and Ethereum perpetual contract markets. In the Ethereum market, transactions valued around $5,499 accounted for $7.7 million, which is about 57% of the $13.5 million in transactions analyzed in CoinDesk. In the Bitcoin market, transactions valued at approximately $2,500 and $5,000 made up 54% of the $85 million sample. High trading volume is usually the primary indicator traders use to assess market activity and liquidity. CoinDesk analyzed 3,450 Ethereum perpetual contract transactions and found that the target price of $5,499 remained relatively stable, although the number of contracts involved varied with changes in Ethereum prices.
