According to CoinMeta, a rare early-stage Ethereum holder, known as a “whale,” participated in the early issuance of Ethereum in 2015 and held 38,800 units of ETH. Half a year ago, they sold 11,552 units of ETH for $20.27 million, earning approximately $23.42 million. This morning, they repurchased 8,630.6 units of ETH for $23.726 million each, at a price of $2,749 per unit. As a result of this transaction, they lost 2,921 units of ETH, equivalent to about $8.03 million.
