According to CoinMeta, a 2026 survey on American bank wealth showed that Generation Z respondents began accumulating wealth at an average age of 19, compared to 25 for Millennials, 29 for Generation X, and 32 for the Baby Boomer generation, meaning Generation Z started earlier by 13 years than the Baby Boomers. However, 62% of Generation Z reported facing difficulties in their financial progress, and 56% felt they had done their best but still did not achieve the desired financial situation. The survey also found that Generation Z and Millennials tend to consider investing in stocks as more realistic than buying a house, with 62% and 61% respectively expressing this view. Additionally, 33% of Generation Z and 29% of Millennials expressed interest in predicting market trends, indicating that young people's awareness of investment products is expanding.
