Bitcoin Approaches $84,000; Falling Oil Prices Boost Risk Assets

Monero (XMR) rose by 13%, approaching $588; Doge Coin (DOGE) increased by 5%, and XRP rose by 4%, with its price just exceeding $1.45. Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and HYPE each rose by about 3%; BNB and ZEC rose by 2%. Risk assets generally saw gains, with the S&P 500 futures rising by more than 0.5% and the Nasdaq 100 contracts rising by nearly 1%. Brent crude oil continued to fall for the fourth consecutive trading day. Traders are watching diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran to ease tensions and restore crude oil shipments from the Middle East. Trump stated that he "might" be willing to meet with the Iranian president at this week's United Nations General Assembly. Cheaper energy sources have alleviated inflationary pressures, allowing the Federal Reserve to maintain a hawkish stance.
