Morgan Stanley's two cryptocurrency spot ETFs, one for Ethereum and the other for Solana, have been approved for listing by NYSE Arca. While the products are not yet in the formal trading phase, the listing process continues, drawing renewed market attention to the future performance of ETH and SOL.

Both products are awaiting final launch.

According to disclosure documents, Morgan Stanley has submitted registration materials to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for two spot ETFs, with the product codes MSSE and MSOL. NYSE Arca has approved their listing and trading qualifications, and the registration documents have automatically become effective.

However, both funds still need to complete the final certification documents before the official trading date can be determined. This means that the products have entered the final stage before listing, but have not yet actually started trading.

ETFs incorporate collateral design

The Ethereum ETF plans to stake approximately 50% to 80% of its ETH holdings, with service providers listed in the document including Figment, Galaxy Blockchain, and Coinbase Canada. Service providers and custodians will receive 5% of the staking rewards, with the majority of the remaining rewards remaining within the fund.

The Solana ETF offers higher staking ratios, covering up to 100% of SOL holdings. Its reward distribution structure is similar to Ethereum products, with the majority of returns remaining within the fund. For traditional investors, this arrangement provides additional income streams beyond price exposure, without requiring them to manage their own wallets or private keys.

Focus on key price levels for ETH and SOL

The report noted that ETH recently found support around $1,750, and its short-term trend is more stable than before. If it breaks through $1,950, the market will continue to observe whether it tests the $2,000 area.

Regarding SOL, $78 is currently a key level. If the price reclaims this area, market attention will shift to the $90-$95 range. In addition to price, the report also mentioned that the Solana ETF recorded a net inflow of nearly $12 million in July, and the on-chain stablecoin supply is approximately $17 billion.
