Milwaukee, November 5 (Reuters) / PR Newswire / -- Insurance distribution technology provider Zywave announced on Thursday the release of its second batch of updates for the fall of 2026, aimed at helping producers win new business, assisting agencies to start each renewal process “well-prepared,” and providing insurers with a clearer understanding of their distribution performance.
These updates are built upon the Apex™ AI announcement released by Zywave in October. The expanded product includes the complete Producer Agent lead generation process and Loss Data connectors from Zywave Apex MCP, more powerful underwriting quote analysis in MGA Hub, as well as deeper integrations between Partner Platform and Agency Matrix within the entire Zywave suite.
Zywave Product experts will introduce the full content of the release for the fall of 2026 at 12:00 noon on November 11th (Central Time USA) through a web seminar. The company encourages everyone to register and attend.
"Our mission is to connect the entire insurance market, enabling underwriters and brokers to conduct transactions more efficiently and effectively," said Eric Rentsch, Chief Product Officer and Head of Emerging Markets at Zywave. "This autumn release fulfills our commitment to continuous innovation: from the first customer acquisition conversation to renewal, every additional connection we make, whether with agencies or underwriters, makes the rest of the process more valuable."
Producer Agent: From suitable potential customers to scheduled meetings
Producer Agent can now be used in Zywave Apex MCP. The complete customer acquisition process – from identifying ideal customer profiles to scheduling meetings – can be applied in Claude, ChatGPT as well as other AI tools that are compatible with MCP. Producers spend less time on research and outreach, allowing them to focus more on qualified potential customers, while retaining the final approval authority for each email sent.
Zywave Apex MCP's Loss Data connector
The commercial loss data for Zywave can now be accessed through the Loss Data connector of Zywave Apex MCP in mainstream AI tools. Users can query the loss profile of a particular company or similar companies based on the verified reported loss event records from Zywave, and they can also retrieve the detailed case information behind it without the need for custom integration or additional steps.
For the underwriters, this extends the value of Loss Insight beyond the data science team. Underwriters who need quick answers no longer have to submit one-off requests; they can directly ask questions to the AI assistants they are already using and receive accurate answers based on the loss data from Zywave. For brokers, this also applies in renewal and prospecting meetings: brokers can retrieve the client's loss profile before the meeting, shifting the discussion from a passive response to a consultative approach.
Partner Platform and Advisor Agent ensure that each renewal starts with everything ready.
Partner Platform is now connected to Advisor Agent, integrating driver and vehicle data into the personal insurance quotation process. From the very beginning of the renewal, the policy data is already in place, and by the time the advisor arrives on-site, the quotation is completed, saving the team several hours each day.
Agency Matrix connects to the complete Zywave toolkit
The account and policy information of Agency Matrix will now flow into the Zywave core account management system, providing support for marketing and content applications, as well as Producer Agent and Advisor Agent. With a single data entry, more value can be unlocked across the entire Zywave suite.
MGA Hub Underwriting Analysis Dashboard
The newly added dashboard in MGA Hub integrates data on quoting activities, agency performance, as well as categorized and state-specific information into a single interface, allowing underwriters to monitor their MGA distribution network in real-time.
Extended insurer connections and content
Zywave has also expanded the platform's network of underwriters: two new underwriters have been added in terms of benefits quotes, covering 47 states; through TurboRater and personal insurance quote API, 19 new underwriters have been added to the housing and auto business in 18 states; and one new underwriter has been added to the commercial insurance business under MGA Hub. In addition, Content Cloud added hundreds of new assets in the third quarter, including materials related to open enrollment for benefits and medical cost information, a series of cybersecurity awareness infographics, as well as guides on new workplace laws in California.
The company states that it welcomes registrations to participate in the autumn release webinar at 12:00 noon on November 11th (Central Time).
