San Francisco, November 4th / PRNewswire / -- Nooks ( Revenue Agent Platform ) announced today that it has received $500 million in funding from Customer Value Fund ( CVF ), a subsidiary of General Catalyst. CVF provides non-dilutive capital to companies with verified and predictable unit economic models to support their growth. Nooks stated that the company obtained this funding by achieving a tripling of year-over-year growth and a net income retention rate of 135%, all while using its own revenue agency platform. Nooks also released Node, calling it the first AI personal assistant for sales. This product can process every transaction around the clock, identify risks and opportunities that sales staff cannot see, and carry out the corresponding tasks.

This financing news comes a year after the explosive growth of Nooks. Nooks currently serves over 2000 companies, including Glean, Notion, Deel, Replit, and Factory. More than half of the customers use more than one Nooks product.

According to the data from Salesforce, companies spend tens of billions of dollars each year on their sales teams, yet ordinary sales representatives only spend about 40% of their time on actual sales activities. The agents from Nooks are capable of handling potential customer prospecting, outreach, and transaction follow-up, allowing sales staff to devote more time to communicating with buyers.

"Alone in the United States, there are 12 million people whose profession is sales, and their jobs are all about to change. We are solving some of the most challenging technical problems to enable sales teams to collaborate with AI agents throughout the entire revenue lifecycle," said Nooks, co-founder and CEO of Dan Lee. "To completely transform an industry, you need a significant amount of capital. General Catalyst CVF will help us bring Nooks and Node to every salesperson – helping them serve more customers and accelerating the growth of the world's best companies."

"AI has changed the way the software is built. Nooks is now changing the way the software is sold," said General Catalyst Customer Value Fund, a partner and co-head of Pranav Singhvi. " Nooks demonstrates a highly predictable revenue engine and a strong unit economics, which are exactly the qualities we look for in CVF company. What's particularly impressive is that they have achieved this through their own platform to drive their own GTM (market entry)."

From pipeline to a complete revenue stack

Nooks initially focused on outbound AI, and later this year launched Sequencing. It quickly seized market share from established companies such as Outreach and Salesloft. Together, these two initiatives have brought to Nooks capabilities that are only found in a few AI companies: the execution layer where actual revenue generation takes place, as well as over a billion real sales interactions that flow through it.

Today, Nooks is integrating this foundation into Revenue Agent Platform, which encompasses the entire process from initial contact to renewal and the execution of revenue-generating tasks for agents. In order to train agents in sales skills, the research team at AI under Nooks has developed models and systems to help AI understand how people think, act, and make purchasing decisions:

  • Sustainable real-time context for several months. Each Nooks proxy carries a complete and continuously updated history of a certain account: calls, emails, objections, changes in key contacts, and signal data. It integrates conflicting information rather than treating each item as a brand new prompt.
  • A continuous learning cycle. Nooks agents learn from the results, not just from prompts. They are trained based on real sales interactions, practice strategies with simulated potential customers before engaging with real buyers, conduct backtesting on similar historical transactions, and learn from each sales representative's style.
  • Infrastructure that enables the observation of results. The Nooks agents work towards goals such as adding new pipelines and advancing transactions, rather than undertaking one-time tasks. Since Nooks automatically makes phone calls and sends emails on their own infrastructure, they are able to observe what happens subsequently: responses, meetings, transactions. Tools located above CRM, however, cannot learn from results that they have never observed themselves.

These achievements are reflected in work performance: customers using Nooks typically achieve three times the pipeline volume compared to previous tools; among the emails sent by Nooks proxies, 96% can be sent without any need for editing.

The platform includes Deal, Outbound, Expansion, and Coaching Agents. Inbound Agents is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2027. Each agent operates on the dialing and sending infrastructure built into Nooks; this complex execution layer serves as the foundation for customers to establish contact with buyers.

Introducing Node: The first AI personal assistant for sales representatives

Node is the first AI personal assistant designed for sale. Most AI tools wait for sales representatives to request assistance before completing a task. Node, on the other hand, is goal-oriented, always online, and continuously learns. Sales representatives may focus on achieving their quarterly targets, acquiring strategic customers, expanding the base of key clients, or building pipelines for the next quarter.

Node will focus on working towards the most important goals for that salesperson. It will determine which transactions and steps are most effective in advancing these goals, and will either carry out the work itself or submit the prepared content for approval by the sales representative. Node is also designed according to the actual way sales operations are conducted, which is through team collaboration. Everyone involved in the transaction, from the sales representative to the account manager and then to the solution engineer, has their own Node. These Node collaborate with each other and learn from one another, so effective sales strategies are automatically spread throughout the team.

Early users have reported that sales productivity can be increased by up to 80%. Node can save them two hours per day, allowing them to reinvest this time in serving customers. Node will officially GA at the beginning of 2027, and teams can immediately apply for early access at nooks.ai / node.

Expanded to meet the needs of the revenue team.

According to Salesforce, nearly nine out of ten sales personnel plan to use AI agents by 2027. Nooks stated that this capital will be utilized to launch new products that address the biggest challenges in sales, covering more corporate clients and international markets, as well as expanding to more roles within the revenue team. Nooks is also recruiting for positions in engineering, research, product development, design, and GTM, with over 100 open positions available.

U.S. President Donald Trump issued a series of tweets on Truth Social on Tuesday evening, blaming Fox News for the Republican Party's defeat in the historic midterms and stating that the channel's ratings had plummeted. Fox News did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Last week, Fox reported that its average audience in October was 1.1 million, a decrease of about 27% year-on-year; Fox Corporation CEO Rupert Murdoch attributed this change to "audience fatigue" during a financial report conference call and stated that viewers had not switched to other news channels.
