All values belong to Kamino Foundation.
Kamino The new Chief Executive Officer Michael Weisz issued an open letter to the KMNO token holders, explaining the role of this asset and its relationship with Kamino Foundation.
In addition to providing holders with a clearer explanation of the value proposition of KMNO, Weisz also outlines the development vision for Kamino over the coming years. Leveraging the breakthrough growth in the RWA sector on Solana, Kamino aims to achieve a concurrent loan scale of over 50 billion US dollars by 2030.
Amid market volatility, the new and clear positioning surrounding KMNO was well-received by the market, with this asset rising by 12% within the day.
One token, one foundation
Kamino CEO Michael Weisz has begun to demonstrate his influence. He elaborated on his vision for KMNO and further explained to token holders what this asset represents. In the broader cryptocurrency industry, the rights of token holders have been vague for many years, whereas Kamino has clarified its approach of 'one token, one foundation'.
In this open letter addressed to the KMNO community, Weisz confirmed the relationship between KMNO and Kamino Foundation. According to the letter, Kamino Foundation is the sole entity in charge of all intellectual property and revenues associated with Kamino, covering both on-chain and off-chain operations.
At the same time, Kamino Foundation is responsible for providing funding for everything constructed within this established Solana lending market. Reports indicate that, unlike many crypto projects, critics argue that the latter has been utilizing an opaque "dual-token-equity ownership model" for many years, at the expense of the interests of crypto investors; whereas Kamino Foundation has no shareholders, members, or beneficiaries.
Weisz indicates that: “KMNO is at the core of my considerations regarding interest consistency, capital allocation, and my role in Kamino... There is only one foundation here, and that is KMNO.”
In addition, Weisz also stated that a portion of the KMNO allocated to him and the broader Kamino team will now depend on whether the asset reaches the full dilution valuation (FDV) milestone. This mechanism inherently aligns the interests of team members with those of token holders, thereby facilitating the aggregation of value towards KMNO. Although he did not make specific commitments regarding other common methods of value aggregation, Weisz indicated that Kamino may introduce token buybacks in the future.
Industry experts and well-known investors have expressed their support for this approach. The founder of Moonrock Capital, Simon Dedic, further emphasized that he believes that the owners of KMNO will now receive 100% of the value created by the company.

Kamino Aims to Achieve a Loan Scale of $50 Billion by 2030
In addition to reaffirming the underlying value of KMNO, Weisz also outlines the long-term vision for this Solana lending protocol. Weisz indicates that Kamino has already established a clear leading advantage in Solana DeFi's largest credit market, and he expects tokenization to push the platform to new heights.
According to Weisz, Kamino predicts that by 2030, the market size of tokenized RWA could expand to 2.3 trillion US dollars, representing a growth of 5700% from the current 39 billion US dollars.

KMNO rose 12% within a day during a week of volatility
Since confirming the role of that token and its relationship with Kamino Foundation, KMNO has risen by over 12%, and its current trading price is $0.033.
