New York, October 29 (Reuters/ PR Newswire ) – ETF provider Direxion announced today that it plans to launch Direxion Daily Anthropic Bull 2X ETF ( ANTO ) and Direxion Daily Anthropic Bear 2X ETF ( ANTD ). This announcement follows closely on Anthropic's public submission of a registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) for the issuance of Class A common stocks.

Anthropic is the company behind the AI model of the Claude series.

ANTO will seek to achieve an investment return that is 200% equivalent to the daily performance of Anthropic A class ordinary shares, before deducting fees and expenses; ANTD will seek to achieve a 200% reverse (−200%) daily investment return. Direxion expects that both funds will start trading on the first trading day after Anthropic A class ordinary shares begin trading, provided that SEC takes effect and Anthropic is completed.

Anthropic has applied to list on NASDAQ Global Select Market, with the stock code being ANT. However, the issue price range and issuance scale have not yet been determined. According to the filing documents, Anthropic achieved revenue of $16.3 billion in the six months up to June 30, 2026, compared to $1.2 billion during the same period last year.

A public listing will enable investors to trade in one of the few companies that focus on the development of cutting-edge AI models. It will also become one of the most highly anticipated tech listings in 2026, on par with the listings of SpaceX and the anticipated OpenAI. ANTO and ANTD will complement Direxion's existing products related to Microsoft, Google, and NVIDIA, providing traders with targeted exposure to companies that will drive the next stage of AI's development.

Direxion Chief Product Officer Mo Sparks stated: "The S-1 of Anthropic has turned this IPO from something anticipated into an event on the schedule, and traders have already begun to pay attention to how they will express their views. We plan to launch ANTO and ANTD during the first trading session after its listing on Anthropic, providing active traders with a pair of daily tools that allow for two-way trading from day one. They join our single-stock funds targeting Microsoft, Google, and NVIDIA, completing the toolbox built around the assets that drive AI trading, and also continue our line of single-stock products."

ANTO and ANTD will join the rich lineup of daily leveraged and inverse products under Direxion. This includes the company's flagship products such as Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X and Bear 1X, ETF (as well as TSLL and TSLS), to the recently launched Direxion Daily SpaceX Bull and Bear 2X ETFs (including LOFF and LOFD), as well as AI related products like Direxion Daily NVDA Bull 2X and Bear 1X ETFs (including NVDU and NVDD). The upcoming funds will add long and short positions on Claude developers to this toolbox, further consolidating Direxion's position as a leading issuer of single-stock products in the United States.

Investing in this fund involves high risk. Anthropic has only recently commenced its initial public offering and may experience greater volatility. Unlike traditional ETF, or even other leveraged and/or inverse ETF products, these leveraged and/or inverse equity funds track individual stocks rather than indices, thereby sacrificing the benefits of diversification. Leveraged and inverse ETF products aim to achieve daily leverage investment objectives, which means they carry a higher risk than their lever-free alternatives. Since they pursue daily targets, it is not expected that they will replicate the performance of the underlying stocks over a period longer than one day. These funds are not suitable for all investors and should only be used by those who understand the risks associated with leverage and are willing to actively manage their investments. If the underlying stock performs poorly, the fund will incur losses; moreover, over a period longer than a single day, a long-positioned fund could lose money even if the underlying stock rises, and a short-positioned fund could also lose money even if the underlying stock falls. Investing in these funds is not equivalent to directly investing in Anthropic.

They also face technology-related risks.

Artificial intelligence ( AI ) and risks for big data companies – Companies engaged in AI and big data business usually face intense competition as well as the risk of rapid obsolescence. At the same time, they also face increased regulation or restrictions, all of which can have an impact on AI and big data companies.

Anthropic Investment Risk – Investing in Anthropic involves high risks. Anthropic The industry in which it operates is characterized by rapid changes and fierce competition. Returns depend in part on Anthropic's ability to develop, train, and commercialize advanced artificial intelligence models and related products and services, while also managing substantial costs for research and development and computing infrastructure. Anthropic Faces intense competition from large, financially robust technology companies, emerging artificial intelligence firms, and open-source projects. Anthropic Relying on third-party cloud infrastructure and specialized hardware, any disruptions, capacity limitations, or increases in costs could have an adverse effect on its operations. Anthropic Also faces evolving regulatory scrutiny related to artificial intelligence, data protection, privacy, intellectual property, and content governance; unfavorable regulatory developments could result in significant costs or limit its business model. Anthropic Actual or perceived defects, biases, misuse, or harmful outputs of the models could lead to damage to reputation, legal liabilities, or loss of customers. Due to ongoing investment needs and market uncertainties, Anthropic may not be able to maintain revenue growth or achieve profitability.

Direxion Shares Risks – Investing in any fund carries risks, including the potential loss of principal. Each fund is non-diversified and focuses on specific securities, industries, sectors, or geographical regions, which may lead to increased volatility. Investments in derivatives such as futures contracts and swaps pose additional risks in addition to those associated with direct investments in securities or other assets. These include insufficient correlation with the underlying investments or other holdings of the fund, higher price fluctuations, and limited availability. As a result, the investment value of the fund can change rapidly without prior warning. Fund risks include compounding effects and market volatility risk, derivative risk, counterparty risk, rebalancing risk, intraday investment risk, Anthropic investment risk, market risk, concentration risk, cash transaction risk, non-correlation risk, as well as risks related to the information technology sector and software industry, including exposure to artificial intelligence.
