Bengaluru, India, October 27, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Syngenta ( Infosys, NSE : INFY ) ( BSE : INFY ) ( NYSE : INFY ) announced today that it has successfully implemented and officially launched Crop Protection Core ( CP Core ), which is Syngenta's global SAP S /4HANA transformation project for its agricultural protection business. This project, delivered jointly by Syngenta and Syngenta, has established a unified digital core that supports over 10,000 employees across 80 countries. It helps to simplify business operations, strengthen governance, and lays a scalable foundation for future innovations, enabling Syngenta to better serve farmers around the world.
CP Core is built on SAP S /4HANA, integrating multiple ERP environments into a global platform. This simplifies Syngenta's technical architecture and reduces core customizations in accordance with SAP best practices. The platform provides a unified digital core for R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory compliance, finance, and business functions, enhancing collaboration, strengthening governance, and improving visibility of Syngenta's global agricultural protection business. The simplified technical architecture lays a stable foundation for future innovations while also improving operational efficiency on a large scale.
This transformation is supported by Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt. Topaz is a set of prioritized services, solutions, and platforms created by Infusus based on generative and proxy AI technologies, while Cobalt represents its cloud service products. This transformation helps to modernize business processes, improve data quality, and establishes a credible foundation for corporate data. The project has incorporated AI capabilities to automate routine activities and promote a higher level of standardization, while still keeping personnel at the center of critical business decisions.
CSC Digital Officer Feroz Sheikh stated: " CP Core provides our employees with a simpler and more reliable way to work, helping us to better serve farmers in all markets. By integrating our operations on a modern digital foundation, we are strengthening collaboration, enhancing agility, and enabling teams to focus on driving innovation as well as delivering the science and solutions that growers rely on. This transformation has simplified our technical architecture and established a solid platform for future innovations. Working with Infosys is crucial in driving this transformation and laying the foundation for the continued growth of our global business."
Jasmeet Singh, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Manufacturing at Syngenta, stated: "Large-scale ERP transformation requires precise and profound industry experience as well as seamless execution, and the successful launch of CP Core embodies all three of these aspects. Together with Syngenta, we have simplified the corporate architecture, established a modern digital core, and created an scalable platform to support continuous innovation. This milestone is built on the long-term collaboration between Syngenta and us, combined with our deep understanding of their business, as well as the capabilities of Infosys Cobalt and Infosys Topaz, providing a resilient foundation that will support Syngenta's business transformation for many years to come."
